Bridge Markland - 2011 did a 2 months USA tour with Jess Curtis/Gravity and „faust in the box“.
A tour with „krug in the box“ to Kleist Festival in Thun / Switzerland, Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe and others.
The Berlin performer is a virtuoso of roleplay and transformation. An artist who effortlessly crosses boundaries between dance, theatre, performance, cabaret and puppet theatre.
Her speciality are transgender-performances in which the audience can experience the change of woman to man (or vice versa).
Her main focus are collages of classic German theatre pieces with pop music – performed as lip-synced solos using role change and hand puppets: „schiller in the box“ (German) about life and work of poet Friedrich Schiller, „faust in the box“ (German), „faust in the box“ (English) after Goethes Faust (part 1) and „krug in the box“ (German) Heinrich von Kleist: ‚The broken jug’.

Other focus points of her work are:
Short performances which deal with themes of drag shows, gender transformations, erotics, striptease, audience interactions, dance.
